Two little charactors
Hi,
My name is Derek and I live with my partner, Sharon, in the small town of Ballymoney on the north coast of Northern Ireland.
I would just like to tell you a little about our two little furry friends, Jody and Glenda, that were part of our lives for almost fourteen years.
They are Brussels Griffons, also known as “the connoisseur’s dog”. Our particular dogs were a short-haired variety known as the brabancon. The breed became popular in the 19th century as rat catchers in the Brussels stables. They are flat faced with large round eyes and give an almost human expression.
